THE CHARM OF THE CAVE HOUSES

The cave houses are houses excavated on the slopes of the mountains next to agricultural land. They are the result of the adaptation of the inhabitants to the environment in which they live and the activity they carry out. Many of them have been preserved over the centuries and enjoy special acoustic and thermal insulation qualities. All of them maintain the original structure of a cave, although over time they have been modified to make them more practical and comfortable.

This unique rural complex is located on a farm of 3.5 ha of surface, on the slope of the spot known as “Rambla de Baza” just 5 minutes drive from the historic city of Guadix, at the foot of the north face of Sierra Nevada.

The complex is a traditional farmhouse formed by a stately building, originating in the 18th century, which has been restored following the purest rustic style, and 12 cave houses converted into tourist accommodation.

The main building has cozy living rooms that open onto the terrace, kitchen, guest toilet and 4 spacious bedrooms with bathrooms. The 12 caves equipped as tourist apartments, offer diversity of spaces and types of accommodation. All of them are perfectly equipped and equipped with maximum comfort.

The area surrounding the buildings is a pleasant garden with a large swimming pool and a paddle tennis court. The complex has mains electricity and well water with a water treatment plant, telephone connection and Wifi, as well as excellent communication by highway.
