The original construction is a stone building, with a rectangular floor plan, next to a waterfall, used as a flour mill and a power station that supplied energy to the small neighboring town.
At present, the building has been transformed into a cozy 220 m² rural house, renovated in 2018, with excellent quality materials: clay and hydraulic floors, Soriano pine flooring and central heating with iron radiators.
The ground floor houses a living room with a fireplace, where the old mill machinery, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are preserved; on the upper floor there are 3 large bedrooms, a bathroom and a bright space for rest, next to the window, with beautiful views of the surroundings. It has electricity and mains water, septic tank and internet access.
The house is surrounded by a plot of 5.500 m² of meadow with some fruit trees, a large centenary walnut tree and two horse chestnut trees at the entrance; It also has another construction of about 230 m² that has a social room, bathroom and storage area.
The location, on the outskirts of a small municipality in the heart of the Loras Geopark, makes this property a unique place in a unique area, in the Burgos region of Los Páramos, a crossroads between Tierra de Campos and the Cantabrian mountains. Burgos is 65 km away, Aguilar de Campoo 30 km and Reinosa 60 km.
