The farm is nestled in an area of enormous landscape beauty, surrounded by forests and river basins, with open views of the mountains that surround the valley. It has 5.6 hectares of flat land enclosed with masonry stone walls around its perimeter. The Erecia River is one of its boundaries and has authorization from the Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederation to collect 48,000 litres of water per day for irrigation.

The farm has a harmonious set of buildings with a typical design of the valleys and villages of Cantabria. Traditional materials such as masonry stone, stone floor slabs and Arabic roof tiles have been used in its construction and rehabilitation. The carpentry is made of oak wood for floors and roofs. All the constructions are independent and are surrounded by gardens with different species of ornamental trees: magnolia trees, mimosa, fir trees and yew trees.

The set is made up of a two-story house, a loft house, two apartments and a garage, a warehouse and a woodshed.

The main house of 175 m² has a covered porch of 80 m² facing southwest, overlooking the entire property, which gives access to the units on the ground floor: a living room with fireplace, an office-style kitchen, a dining room and bedroom with a bathroom. The first floor houses four bedrooms, a bathroom and a seating area.

The old house has been rehabilitated by opening up holes and making large windows that allow the view of the entire property. Inside, the ground floor has double height ceilings in the large living room with fireplace. The kitchen and a bathroom are also located on this floor. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a reading room. It has a 24 m² attic. In its southern part a cosy porch allows you to enjoy the landscaped environment.

The old round silo for storing hay has been converted into a unique apartment with a living area and kitchen, and a bathroom and a bedroom on the first floor. Another 40 m² apartment has a living room with an integrated kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom.

The buildings use oil heating, with iron radiators, and recirculation of domestic hot water.

The farm has asphalted access, fixed telephony, mobile coverage, digital terrestrial television signal and optic fibre for internet connection as well as all usual municipal services.

The property is located on the outskirts of a small town in the Iguña Valley, next to the Erecia River. The highway linking Cantabria with the Meseta is only 2.5 kilometres away. Its strategic enclave, in the centre of the region, allows you to enjoy a great leisure offer less than an hour away: the stately city of Santander is 54 kilometres away, Suances and its magnificent beaches 30 km away, and the Alto Campoo ski resort just 48 km away.
